Macmillan's Exchange newsletter is for people interested in self help and support, and in improving cancer care. Exchange features stories about self help and support groups, and about what people around the UK are doing to change cancer services. Read about what's going on near you and find out how you can get involved.

You may find the user involvement course on Learn Zone beneficial. Although primarily aimed at Macmillan professionals, this free online course will help you involve users and help make positive changes for service users.
Self Help Nottingham's website includes links to other sources of information about self help groups, including 'Starting Off pack' - information and ideas for new self help groups, Find out more on their website.
Advertise your group with us
If you have set up your own cancer support group and would like to be listed in our annual Directory of Self Help and Support please complete an application form. This needs to be returned by 1 October 2008 to be included in the next hard copy, however groups can be updated online throughout the year.

You can return the form via email to resources@macmillan.org.uk or post to the Resource Assistant, Macmillan Cancer Support, 89 Albert Embankment, London, SE1 7UG.
The directory is distributed UK-wide to relevant charity and information services and contains over 900 groups. People will also be able to search for your group using our online self help and support group search.
